Beach Junki is proud to launch the Sea the Art Turtle Project—a unique community art initiative combining creativity with conservation. We’ve welcomed a 5-foot life-size fiberglass sea turtle to serve as a symbol of our mission to protect marine life and keep our oceans clean.
This blank turtle will soon be transformed into a colorful, hand-painted piece of public art—and we’re inviting local artists to help bring it to life!
Big News! Our Sea the Art Turtle Has Found Her Artist!
We’re thrilled to announce that the incredibly talented Tina McDaniel has been chosen as the official artist for our Sea the Art Turtle Project!
Tina will be transforming our 5-ft fiberglass turtle into a breathtaking work of art that does more than just catch your eye—it will speak to your heart. This turtle is being brought to life with a purpose: to raise awareness about the threats facing our oceans—from endangered species to the growing crisis of marine debris.
We want this piece to tell a story—one that sparks conversations, inspires action, and encourages every visitor to see the ocean through a new lens.
We’ll be sharing behind-the-scenes peeks and progress updates as Tina brings her powerful vision to life, and we can’t wait for you to be part of the journey.
And a very special thank you to Tina for generously donating her time and talent to this project. Your heart for the ocean and passion for storytelling through art is truly inspiring, and we’re honored to have you bring our turtle to life.
This is more than just art—it’s a message from the sea.
