Thank You Surfing Evolution & Preservation Foundation

The Foundation behind the Endless Summer Specialty License Plate.

Your generous annual grant makes a powerful impact—from celebrating the rich history and culture of surfing to advancing true environmental stewardship along our coast. Your commitment helps fund meaningful initiatives that protect our shorelines, support ocean education, and keep the spirit of surfing alive for generations to come.

We are especially grateful for the grant that allowed us to purchase our transport van.

This essential vehicle helps us reach more communities, carry equipment for cleanups and outreach, and safely transport rescued sea turtles under our FWC permit. It’s a game-changer for our mission, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

By purchasing the Endless Summer Specialty License Plate, you directly support environmental nonprofits like Beach Junki and other eco-minded organizations dedicated to keeping our beaches healthy and beautiful. $25 from every plate supports partner organizations like ours.

We’re proud to share this special community project made possible by the caring team at VFW Post 4351. Beach Junki was contacted by Kelly & Dave Davis, the Commander of the Post, along with Scott & Marlena Shaw, the Post President, who expressed their eagerness to partner with us and do something meaningful for the community. We teamed up to give the old treasure chest at Seaside Park a much-needed upgrade so beachgoers can keep enjoying free toys.

A heartfelt thank-you goes to Post President Scott and his grandson Logan, who built the new box by hand using reclaimed wood provided by Beach Junki—wood we recovered from a dumpster and brought back to life. Their craftsmanship, teamwork, and generosity transformed this project into something truly special.

Sea Turtle Grants Program

In 2022,  Beach Junki was awarded a grant for $2,900 from the Sea Turtle Grants Program for the Sea Turtle Education Sign Project.  It was a competitive application process and we are the only nonprofit in Nassau County to receive a grant from the Sea Turtle Grants Program.
